Saxon F13065AT REFLECTING TELESCOPE with AUTO TRACKING

A portable 130mm aperture x 650mm focal length (f/5) Reflector with easy-to-use automatic astronomical tracking.

Simple to set up and simple to use. The hand control allows a choice of sidereal rate and two other higher slewing speeds, and three speeds when used for land viewing.

Includes a single-arm mount, solid aluminium tripod with accessory tray, Super 25mm & 10mm eyepieces and red-dot finder.

Bonus: Solar Filter & Compass

Saxon 150mm on EQ3 mount

150mm aperture, 750mm focal length (f/5). Diffraction-limited optics, parabolic primary mirror, deluxe equatorial mount (EQ3) on adjustable height aluminium tripod with accessory tray. Super 1.25" eyepieces and 6x30 finder scope. 150mm primary mirror gathers enough light to reveal many fainter deep-sky objects; 33% more light gathering power than 130mm, 73% more light than 114mm, perfect instrument for serious amateur.

Saxon 200mm on EQ5 mount

200mm aperture, 1200mm focal length (f/6). Diffraction-limited parabolic primary mirror, deluxe equatorial mount (EQ5) on adjustable height aluminium tripod with accessory tray. Includes 2" focuser with 1.25" adapter, two 1.25" Plossl eyepieces (25mm & 10mm) and 9x50 achromatic finders cope.  200mm primary mirror gives magnificent images of deep-sky objects. 78% more light than 150mm scopes. Optional dual-axis motor drives available.

Saxon 254mm on HEQ5 mount

254mm aperture, 1200mm focal length (f/5). 10" parabolic Pyrex mirror, 2" focuser with 1.25" adapter, 9x50 finder scope. Gala trak deluxe HEQ heavy-duty equatorial mount has dual-axis motors built-in (with battery pack and hand control), and rests on an adjustable-height steel tripod. Includes polar scope and two 1.25" Plossl eyepieces (25mm & 10mm). This is one of the largest equatorial-mount Newtonian reflectors on the market today.

Saxon 254mm on Pier mount

254mm aperture, 1200mm focal length (f/5). Has all the features of the F25412HEQ, but with the extremely solid pier mount in place of the tripod. Mounted on castors for easy transport, each leg has a lockable, adjustable-height rubber-tipped screw for levelling the pier. Not as easily portable as the tripod, the pier offers much greater stability and reduction in vibration.

                        Dobson mounted reflectors

Saxon 150mm Dobson

150mm aperture, 1200mm focal length (f/8). This 6" Dobsonian has a parabolic primary mirror, 2" Crayford-style focuser with 1.25" adapter which allows  the use of either eyepiece size and two Super 1.25" eyepieces (20mm & 10mm).  Comes with 9x50 finder scope, carry handle, eyepiece rack and tension control handle to adjust balance in the vertical axis. Large enough for deep sky.

Saxon 200mm  Dobson

200mm aperture, 1200mm focal length (f/6). This 8" Dobsonian has a parabolic primary mirror, 2" Crayford-style focuser with 1.25" adapter which allows  the use of either eyepiece size and two Super 1.25" eyepieces (20mm & 10mm).  Comes with 9x50 finder scope, carry handle, eyepiece rack and tension control handle to adjust balance in the vertical axis. The 8" is a popular size due to it's size and weight.

Saxon 254mm Dobson

250mm aperture, 1200mm focal length (f/5). The parabolic primary mirror of the 10" is made of Pyrex, and the scope features a 2" Crayford-style focuser with 1.25" adapter. Two Plossl eyepieces are included (25mm & 10mm) and a 9x50 finder scope. Comes with same features as the 8" but yields around 50% greater light-gathering ability for a slight increase in weight.

Saxon 304mm Dobson

304mm diameter, 1500mm focal length (f/5), 12” Dobsonian, reflector Pyrex parabolic primary mirror, 2” Crayford style focuser with 1.25” adapter, 9x50 finderscope, Plossl 1.25” eyepieces (10mm & 25mm), new tension control handle and laminated base. This model also includes a new tension control handle, to correctly balance the optical tube in the vertical direction. This feature solves the common balance problem found on many Dobsonians.
