Denkmeier Basic Binoviewer

 

Denkmeier Standard Binoviewer has brought amazing two-eyed views of planets, The Sun, The Moon and countless Deep-sky objects to amateur astronomers around the world. This large aperture Standard Binoviewer has the same 26mm prisms as it's Power Switching cousin but the eyepiece holders are Self-Centering Holders, not Self-Centering Diopter Holders. Individual focusing of each eyepiece is quickly accomplished by sliding one or the other up or down. The holders lock the eyepieces in without the use of setscrews. An internal split ring is collapsed equally over the 360 degree circumference of the eyepiece barrel for perfect alignment every time. A smooth sliding motion of the eyepiece remains possible even though the eyepiece is firmly retained in these  holders. So, the eyepieces are Self-Centred (essential for proper merging of the images) and snugly contained, but still can be raised or lowered in the CNC machined, all aluminium anodised holders.

Denkmeier Optical Standard Binoviewer with SCD

This is the Denkmeier Optical standard binoviewer unit with  Self Centring Diopters (SCD). The SCDs allows individual eyepiece focus to be accomplished smoothly and with great accuracy. Many months were spent designing and testing the threads until it was right! The SCDs are extremely well received by customers all around the world. The special internal threads allow focus change at a very nice speed. This means that focus changes are easy to detect, not too slow and not to fast. Merges is maintained because the machining of the SCD holders is specified at very high tolerances. The top ring (black) locks the eyepiece in the holder by collapsing an internal split ring. After this is done, the silver lower ring may be used to change focus in either eyepiece. These holders are made from quality aluminium material and then clear anodised and black anodised.

Denkmeier II Binoviewer

The Denk II is Denkmeiers premium binoviewer. It is designed with the prism coatings to peak in the H-a band-pass. What does this mean? The peak transmission is centred around the 656nm band-pass. So, while our coatings average 0.2% reflectivity across the visible spectrum, the transmission peaks in H-a at better than 99.8%!  Naturally, the increased contrast of Denk II coatings mean great night time views as well as day time views. Over and over again, customers all over the world rave about the performance of the Premium Denk II. Burgess Optical MK24 Binoviewer package

 

The Burgess Optical Model 24 Binoviewer is a premium lightweight stereo binocular. With 24 mm of clear aperture, the Burgess Optical Model 24 binoviewer will not vignette any 1-1/4" eyepiece except those with the largest field stops. The maximum field stop of any 1-1/4" eyepiece is 27mm and this limitation is based on the inside diameter of the 1-1/4" eyepiece barrel. Features include:

Includes world famous 26mm clear aperture  & also includes the  Optical Corrector System (OCS) that operates in a modular fashion to allow multiple magnifications factors with a single pair of eyepieces in a Refractor, Newtonian or SCT. In Refractors & Newtonians, 1.4X & 2.5X are easily obtainable. In F/10 SCT, The Big Easy offers three magnification factors with the lowest being an F6.6 focal reduction mode!

Denkmeier Optical standard power switch package

 

These binovierwers have a built in power switch. The power switch allows the user to select between between two magnifications with the one pair of eyepieces without having to remove the binoviewer from the telescope. The binoviewer includes all the features you would expect from Denkmeier including:

SCT  Package. Where the primary telescope is a SCT or MCT that has similar focusing distances as SCT. Can also be used on refractors and reflectors.
