90mm Maksutov Cassegrain
The
unique Maksutov-Cassegrain incorporates an optical design that
gives an astonishing 1000mm focal length in a compact tube of
only 350mm. This makes it a handy, portable and
easy-to-use telescope. The 1000x90 allow for land or
star-gazing, two 1.25" Plossl eyepieces (6.5mm & 20mm),
aluminium tripod and an equatorial mount.

Quality and

Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, now available in Australia. The
proven Maksutov optical system gives sharp, high-contrast images
and a long focal length (2500mm) in a compact tube. Little, if
any collimation is ever required, with the small secondary
mirror being an aluminised spot on the inner surface of the
thick corrector lens. The SAXON M20325EQ5 is manufactured at the
same facility as higher-priced, "name" Maksutovs of
the same specification. |
