Saxon 90mm Maksutov Cassegrain

The unique Maksutov-Cassegrain incorporates an optical design that gives an astonishing 1000mm focal length in a compact tube of only 350mm. This makes it a handy, portable and easy-to-use  telescope. The 1000x90 allow for land or star-gazing, two 1.25" Plossl eyepieces (6.5mm & 20mm), aluminium tripod and an equatorial mount.

Saxon 100mm Maksutov Cassegrain

Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design gives well corrected views and has the benefits of a closed optical tube. Comes complete with two eyepieces (K9mm & K20mm), 8x21 finder scope, 45deg amici erecting prism and aluminium tripod. Diffraction-limited quality, allowing you to observe the surface of Mars and Jupiter as well as star clusters.

Saxon 130mm Maksutov Cassegrain

Quality and affordability are combined in the impressive new SAXON 8” Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, now available in Australia. The proven Maksutov optical system gives sharp, high-contrast images and a long focal length (2500mm) in a compact tube. Little, if any collimation is ever required, with the small secondary mirror being an aluminised spot on the inner surface of the thick corrector lens. The SAXON M20325EQ5 is manufactured at the same facility as higher-priced, "name" Maksutovs of the same specification.
