Lumicon
Cassegrain easy guider
One
of the most powerful astrophotography accessories on the market
today, greatly extending the photographic capabilities of your
Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
The sturdy Cassegrain Easy-Guider features a unique, patented,
radial adjustment for finding bright, off-axis guide-stars. The
Lumicon Cassegrain Easy-Guider also includes rotational
adjustments, along with a large off-axis prism, both of which
combine to simplify guide-star selection. The multi-coated, 50mm
focal reducing lens yields 100% edge-to-edge field illumination,
high-contrast, and pinpoint star images across a 35mm frame. The
reducing lens in its standard position provides a 0.65 reduction
(F/10 optics become F/6.5). It can also be moved farther from the
camera, yielding an approximate F/5 ratio. Exposure times with the
Lumicon Cassegrain Easy-Guider are thus 2 to 4 times shorter, and
the image size is correspondingly reduced.
Note:
The following accessories are required for photography: A prism
diagonal; a guiding eyepiece (or auto-guider); and a
camera-specific T-ring. These may be user-supplied, or purchased
separately. See accessaries below Available
